IngeSTore 2.0 is an easy-to-use, multi-channel production and archival acquisition software compatible with all Bluefish444 Epoch and KRONOS video I/O cards as a per channel license or available as a fully-integrated centralised ingest appliance.

Choice to record between different video interfaces

The video interfaces supported by IngeSTore are SDI, NDI, HDMI and ST2110/2022. When IngeSTore is licensed to a KRONOS Optikos3G model, the video interfaces can be “hot swapped” between SDI over coaxial, SDI over fiber, HDMI 1.4 and SMPTE 2110/2022 using an approved SFP+ hardware module.

Alternative workflow to using recorders with support for growing files

IngeSTore offers an alternative, more efficient, recording workflow compared to ‘in camera’ or 3rd-party add-on recorders. Support for recording to local or network-attached storage allows the chosen file format, and codec, to be recorded directly into its final location. 

Removing the need to offload media from camera cards and recorders, and writing files directly to storage for industry-standard NLEs to immediately access, is a production workflow known as “growing files”, and is ordinarily a feature of expensive turnkey sports production solutions.

IngeSTore’s support for growing files and direct capture to NAS ensures easy editor collaboration and faster production times, creating operational efficiencies by saving time and money. Editors no longer have to wait for a recording to finish and then go about the lengthy process of media copy and transfer before NLE. IngeSTore eliminates the data wrangling associated with recorder workflows.

IngeSTore and its support for growing files adds production workflow features to existing post-production infrastructure.
