10 bit RGB 4:4:4.
Working in uncompressed 10 bit 4:4:4 adn 8 bit 4:4:4:4 internal processing keeps the integrity of images and retains color integrity in standard definition modes compared to 8 bit based video solutions.
10 bit provides 1024 levels of color compared to 8 bit solutions that provide only 256 levels of color.

The Wildblue | AV is cross platformable with Window, Linux and Apple OSX operating system working with QuickTime™ compatible applications such as Final Cut Pro 4™, Combustion™, After Effects™ and Shake™.

One card, three platforms.

Internal Keyer.
The Wildblue | AV card includes an onboard keyer that allows the overlay of video or graphics over the SDI input stream in real time. Internal keying is a powerful feature and is useful for live broadcast environments.

6 Channels of Digital Audio Output.
Wildblue | AV incorporates advanced audio features with 6 channels of quality 24 bits AES/ EBU Digital audio at 48khz, perfect for surround sound editing. In addition Wildblue | AV has sample rate converters on all input channel pairs for non sync audio input (32kHz- 100kHz).

Professional Broadcast Genlock.
The Wildblue | AV has full genlocking capability. The output circuits are fully decoupled from the input circuits for unconditionally stable video outputs - even during capture where the card performs as a synchronizer. SDI Outputs meet SMPTE specs (including jitter) at all times with or without Bi level or Tri level genlock.

Large range of application support.

Included with Wildblue | AV is Symmetry™, a 10-bit RGB/YUV sequential capture and playback station for Windows. Supported file formats are sequential 10-bit RGB Cineon, DPX and 10-bit YUV QuickTime™.

Symmetry’s™ use of industry standard file formats ensures that a digital artist can work with a consistent file format throughout the production workflow, not requiring file format conversions, reducing rendering times to zero. Digital content created from Nuke™, Mirage, After Effects™, Digital Fusion™ or Combustion™, etc can be moved seamlessly to high end finishing systems such as Discreet, Nucoda or Da Vinci.
